SMB Bangor #28: How to respond

Posted on October 24, 2013

People are talking about your business on social media. Deciding when you should respond to the positive and the negative – or if you should respond at all – is one of the toughest (but most important) parts of a social media plan.

For our November breakfast, we brought together an all-star panel (including a few featured at the SMBBGR Awards) from a variety of businesses and organizations. They provided their thoughts about when responding is a good idea and some best practices for your responses.

Our panelists were Carolyn Callahan of WABI TV5, Jason Clay of Governor’s Restaurant, Ben Sprague of the Bangor City Council and Means Investment Company, and Mark Nason of NESCom and WHSN. The panel was moderated by Justin Russell, web developer at Sephone Interactive Media and creator of Bangor events site
